Close to 100% of all stock index futures trading is executed on an electronic trading platform (such as Globex).  And while electronic trading dominates even the traditional markets like Grains and Livestock, 17% of Grains/Livestock futures contracts are still executed on the trading floor via open outcry (Feb. 2009)
